Child Case Study by Yurry Buckler

Student is identified as autistic and participates in two programs designed for students with special needs. Attention and focus are areas of concern. Significant prompting is necessary on a regular basis. Attention and focus are better when technology is used. Reinforcement and repetition are necessary for the student to retain information. The student demonstrates difficulty in all academic areas. Math word problems are a particular challenge. For math, the student is in a class of five.
